As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver Mobile in Tampa, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.01 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon08:30 AM - 06:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies, helping to maintain controlled access to banking areas and facilities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; communicate observations and required information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the financial institution, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter, while observing and reporting unusual activity.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and follow applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal procedures for armed posts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
