Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Incident Response Patrol in Clearwater, FL. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform, designed for flexible, reliable hours and income growth.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, parking areas, vehicle access points, platforms, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle activity; verify credentials and direct authorized individuals in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public agencies as required.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required activity documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Incident Response Patrol in Clearwater, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun03:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
