Allied Universal in Tampa, FL is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Mobile Driver to provide reliable, scheduled coverage with the flexibility to pick up extra shifts. This role operates at an assigned site, delivering armed security, access control, and incident response while ensuring a high level of customer service.

Pay rate is $19.52 per hour. The position offers anchor shifts with Earn More, Claim-A-Shift options, and pathways toward full‑time hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, ATMs, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for persons, vehicles, and deliveries entering restricted areas in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following applicable site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
• Complete accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related activities.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Mobile Driver in Tampa, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.52 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat08: 00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
