Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal policy.

• Background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at the location by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and escalate as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to deter unauthorized entry and maintain order.
• Complete incident reports and daily activity logs per site procedures.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Lakeland, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.96 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintain orderly movement throughout the location.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
