As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Field Patrol in Maple Heights, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon08:30 AM - 05:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry into restricted areas, helping to maintain controlled access throughout the financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established armed response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
