Allied Universal in New Holland, PA seeks a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide reliable, customer‑focused security at a busy site. This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, helping you build experience and earnings while pursuing a path to a full‑time role.

You will handle access control, badge management, alarm panel tasks, and daily customer service, with a commitment to safety and professional conduct.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Manage access control by verifying credentials and issuing visitor badges.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner per site procedures.
• Monitor access points and delivery traffic at a location to support controlled movement.
• Conduct regular patrols of designated areas and perimeters.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Alarm Panel Operator in New Holland, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201) Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.
• Alarm Panel Experience (B202) Candidates must demonstrate experience with alarm panel systems. This includes knowledge of alarm activation, deactivation, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204) Candidates should be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes familiarity with software applications, email communication, and data entry.
• Customer Service Experience (B219) Candidates must possess strong customer service skills. This includes experience in handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing a positive customer experience.

Job Schedule:

• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Manage access control by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining required access records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and delivery traffic at a food and beverage location, helping to support controlled movement of personnel, visitors, and authorized vehicles.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access areas, the business, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
