Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify identification and authorized access, issue visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Coordinate with site contacts regarding deliveries, contractor arrivals, restricted-area access, and other access-related concerns while following established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, business operations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Operations in Monroe, MI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
