Qualifications

• Licensing per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at a manufacturing or corporate location; verify credentials, authorize entry, and maintain visitor/contractor logs.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, facilities, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns.
• Direct authorized personnel and report irregularities to site policies.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Coordination in West Point, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Sat 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sun 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, security‑related policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at an automotive manufacturing or corporate location; verify credentials, authorize entry according to site procedures, and maintain visitor and contractor logs.
• Respond to access‑control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, parking areas, business facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns.
• Support vehicle, material, and delivery traffic procedures by directing authorized personnel to designated areas and reporting irregularities according to site policies.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
