Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Authorization in El Segundo, CA. • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, processing visitor and contractor entry, maintaining access logs, and communicating entry requirements.
• Respond to access‑control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, incidents, inspections, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Authorization in El Segundo, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $24.68 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A primarily driving post is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
