Allied Universal in Santa Fe, NM is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Mobile Security to provide reliable, consistent coverage at an assigned site with flexible hours. This role offers part-time hours with opportunities to pick-up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will support client and staff with security procedures, customer service, and incident response while maintaining a professional presence and documenting activities for site records.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Able to use a computer or tablet.
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Deter unauthorized activity and maintain detailed activity and incident documentation.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Mobile Security in Santa Fe, NM, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 04:15 PM - 12:15 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence while maintaining detailed, accurate activity and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
