Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, seeks a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer for an industrial site in Coopersville, MI. The role offers fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up extra shifts to boost earnings.

Pay rate is $19.00 per hour, with a schedule from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. Responsibilities include customer service, incident response, regular patrols, access monitoring, and meticulous shift documentation.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology facilities, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs and shift documentation per Allied Universal requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced - Industrial Facilityin Coopersville, MI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout technology facilities, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report unusual conditions or access‑control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
