Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Hospital Foot Patrol in Delray Beach, FL. This part-time role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and additional shifts via the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program.

Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will undergo background investigation as required by law.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols in healthcare facilities, parking areas and surrounding perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, checking credentials, and documenting activity.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities and share with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Hospital Foot Patrol in Delray Beach, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support a welcoming environment.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner while following site procedures.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, checking credentials as directed, and documenting visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
