Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Cincinnati, OH. This role provides flexible, reliable hours with a fixed anchor shift and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

You will serve in an armed capacity, ensuring safety for patients, visitors, and staff while following site protocols and emergency procedures. This role offers growth opportunities within a leading security provider.

Qualifications

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• At least 1 year of armed security experience or related law enforcement/military background.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• State/county/city security license preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and staff while following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of healthcare locations, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials when required; maintain orderly entry/exit procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident, patrol, and security activity reports.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Armed Mobile Patrol in Cincinnati, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate:

$24.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and staff while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the healthcare location, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and security‑related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
