Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer EMT Patrol in Columbus, GA. You will monitor a high‑security aerospace/defense site, perform patrols, deter unauthorized activity, and provide excellent customer service.

EMT certification plus security experience are required, with CPR preferred. Day shifts include a rotating schedule; position is full time. The role requires a valid driver’s license for driving positions, background checks, and a post‑offer drug screen.

As a Security Officer EMT Patrol in Columbus, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report access‑control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Possess a current EMT certification.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
