Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a part-time Security Officer EMT Mobile Patrol in North Haven, CT. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Responsibilities include providing customer service, responding to incidents, patrolling the facility, monitoring access, and documenting shift activity for leadership and management.

As a Security Officer EMT Mobile Patrol in North Haven, CT, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by pick-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping maintain an orderly environment for personnel and guests.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess EMT certification.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
