As a Security Officer Emergency Response in SALINAS, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.23 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM
• Thur 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sat 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sun 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and vehicle traffic at a food and beverage production location; verify credentials and follow established entry procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report security-related concerns, hazards, and unusual conditions while maintaining professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
