Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Educational Facility Mobile Patrol Driver in Bellport, NY. You will patrol educational locations, deter incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with excellent customer service.

The role offers a flexible schedule with evening/night shifts and opportunities to grow, including use of our shift-claiming platform. A valid driver’s license and security background are required or preferred.

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.

As a Patrol Officer at an educational location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors through exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and inspection reports while maintaining a professional presence throughout the assigned location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
