Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in Sparrows Point, MD. The role involves driving and unarmed security patrols at an industrial site, with a focus on customer service and visibility to deter incidents.

Pay rate is $19.09 per hour. Schedule includes multiple night shifts and weekend coverage. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 months security experience, and a valid driver’s license; background check and drug screen apply.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Observe industrial operations and report hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives.]

As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in Sparrows Point, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns.
