• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Document incidents and daily activities and communicate with property management and leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Permission Review in Lebanon, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 12:00 AM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 12:00 AM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-control records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned commercial property areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership while documenting incidents, observations, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
