Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail and mall environment.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout common areas, parking facilities, entrances, exterior perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, providing directions, assistance, and support to shoppers and other guests as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of a valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
