Job summary

Allied Universal in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Driver Patrol Access to safeguard residents and assets across our community and sites. The role focuses on customer service, alertness, and safe driving, with a Thur/Fri/Sat 3:00 PM–11:00 PM schedule.

You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and document activity. A valid driver’s license, 2 years security experience, guard card, and background/drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Guard card is required.
• Background investigation and drug screen will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations calmly and according to procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and contractor activity per site requirements.
• Document patrols and incidents with clear reports and communicate information to site management.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support residents and visitors with professional communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions through clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
