Qualifications

• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel per site policies and emergency response as needed.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, document arrivals and departures of authorized personnel/vehicles/deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate per procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, yards, parking, facilities, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and security activities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, check credentials as required, and document the arrival and departure of authorized personnel, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
