Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Driver Patrol in Rochelle, IL. Job Description

As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol in Rochelle, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate observations, and respond to concerns with integrity while contributing to Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and team-focused culture.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, production-area access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required logs and documentation.
• Report observed hazards, unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and security-related incidents to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
