Job summary

Allied Universal in Johnstown, OH is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver to protect clients across commercial real estate sites. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors.

A valid driver’s license is required, you must be at least 18, and you will undergo background checks and drug screening in compliance with federal, state, and local laws. This is a full-time, on-site role with a daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control practices.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial office areas, parking facilities, common spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and deliveries in accordance with site policies; verify credentials and direct authorized individuals.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs while communicating relevant information to leadership and site representatives.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
