Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Operations in Greenwood, IN to protect clients across technology-focused sites. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Valid driver’s license is required; on-site night shifts; background check and drug screening are part of employment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused site.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, loading areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and report unusual activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; communicate with site contacts and responders.
• Prepare accurate reports and shift documentation of observations and incidents.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Operations in Greenwood, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unusual activity or policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and shift documentation for patrol observations, incidents, access-related issues, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
