Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring access points, documenting activities, and following emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation and drug screen are required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials and issuing badges; maintain logs.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and emergencies per procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at an industrial construction location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, issuing badges or access devices, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control concerns accurately, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
