Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license in accordance with policy requirements.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• 18+ years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and contractors by following security procedures and location policies.
• Monitor access points and verify identifications, credentials, and visitor/badge status.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, badge, key, and access-control records and report discrepancies.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter and report hazards or security issues.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor check-in requirements in accordance with location procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, badge, key, and access-control records while reporting discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, and report observed hazards, damaged access equipment, or unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
