Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Driver in Canyon Lake, CA. You will perform unarmed vehicle and bicycle patrols, monitor access points, and respond to security concerns while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy.
• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests and visitors while following security procedures and community policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of residential streets, common areas, amenities, parking areas and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic per site procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and resident concerns; document observations per reporting procedures.
• Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, staff and leadership regarding security matters.

As a Security Officer Driver in Canyon Lake, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and bicycle patrols, monitor access points, remain visible to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential streets, common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken in accordance with reporting procedures.
• Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, property staff, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters and site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
