Job summary

Allied Universal® in Mira Loma, CA is hiring a Security Officer / Driver to protect client sites across logistics and distribution. You will manage access, perform routine patrols, and deliver courteous service to employees, visitors and drivers while upholding site policies and safety procedures.

This full-time position requires a valid driver’s license, ability to use a computer or tablet, and compliance with licensing and background checks.

As a Security Officer / Driver in Mira Loma, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Tue: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized personnel and deliveries according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, business operations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for access activity, incidents, inspections, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
