Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Door Control in DAKOTA CITY, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will maintain a visible presence, help to deter security-related incidents, document activity using computer or tablet systems, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $19.72 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food production location.
• Monitor and control access at entry points by verifying identification, visitor authorization, and delivery credentials in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records, and communicate access concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, parking areas, and facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
