Allied Universal in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Security Officer with active DoD Secret clearance to join our aerospace/defense site. You will monitor areas, patrol, provide customer service and respond to incidents.

This full-time role requires at least one year of security-related experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen. CPR/First Aid and a Guard Card are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and around the perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
