Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time position at our Anaheim, CA distribution center. You will manage entry points, verify badges, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced logistics setting.

The role is full-time with a graveyard shift and pays $18.25 per hour. You will conduct patrols, respond to incidents, and uphold security procedures while supporting a team-focused, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access‑control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.


• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.


• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian traffic at entry points; communicate access concerns or irregularities to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
