Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Facility Access Control in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
• Control access to loading docks, warehouse areas, and restricted distribution locations in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related issues as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
