Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations per reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and common areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report suspicious conditions or violations.
• Complete detailed activity logs and shift handoffs in accordance with site requirements.

Job Schedule

• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
