Job summary

Allied Universal in Boise, ID is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Support to provide reliable security services at a food and beverage production site. You will work fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, earning $18.00 per hour and gaining hands-on experience with an industry-leading team.

This role offers flexible scheduling, on-the-job training, and opportunities to progress toward full-time schedules up to 40

Qualifications

• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing as required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, observing visitor and delivery activity, and documenting entry and exit information in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and preparing accurate reports as required.
• Observe food and beverage facility operations for unusual conditions, report hazards or security-related concerns, and support adherence to site access and visitor management procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Support in Boise, ID, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat01:00 PM - 08:00 PMSun01:00 PM - 08:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
