As a Security Officer - Distribution Center in Dunn, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a retail distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing outstanding customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license in the job state is required. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

DayTime

Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
  
  

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site procedures.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any irregularities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license in the state of employment is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
