Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time role in Savannah, GA. You will monitor access, respond to incidents, and provide courteous customer service to clients, visitors, and staff at an aerospace/defense location.

Strong communication, discretion, and the ability to follow procedures are valued. A high school diploma and at least 1 year of related experience are preferred; background check and drug screen may be required.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement or 2+ years of security supervision experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess customer service experience, preferred.
• Possess access control/badge experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor and coordinate dispatch communications, document service requests, and relay information promptly.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Maintain dispatch logs and incident reports while handling sensitive information with discretion.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and report unusual conditions.
