As a Security Officer Dispatch Patrol Driverin San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting a utilities location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, and dispatch resources to support timely responses to security-related incidents. You will maintain accurate records, provide professional service, and help promote a secure environment through clear communication and teamwork. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to utility operations personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or callers by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor incoming communications, alarms, cameras, and access-control activity from the dispatch center; document and relay relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Coordinate responses to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation protocols.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and shift activity records, including communications with field personnel and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random virtual monitoring of utility facilities and perimeter areas through available systems; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
