Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Dispatch Operations in Lithia Springs, GA to safeguard clients across industries. You will coordinate dispatch communications, monitor alarm and access control systems, and support badge activity while delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time role requires at least 1 year of security experience, comfort with a computer or tablet, and the ability to work daytime and overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required per law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Coordinate dispatch communications for inbound and outbound transportation activity, documenting driver arrivals and movements.
• Monitor access points, vehicle gates, and dispatch communications to support orderly flow of personnel, vehicles, and freight.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying site contacts and documenting actions.
• Conduct regular patrols of dispatch areas, parking lots, docks, and perimeter; duties vary by client site.

As a Security Officer Dispatch Operations in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will coordinate communications, monitor alarm and access control systems, support badge activity, and help maintain awareness of site operations. You will provide outstanding customer service, document security-related activity, and communicate with teams and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Coordinate dispatch communications for inbound and outbound transportation activity, including documenting driver arrivals, departures, trailer movements, and access-related information.
• Monitor access points, vehicle gates, and dispatch communications to help support orderly flow of personnel, vehicles, and freight throughout the distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of dispatch areas, parking lots, docks, trailer yards, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
