Job summary

Allied Universal in Athens, GA seeks a Security Officer Dispatch Communications to monitor and coordinate security operations at a manufacturing and industrial site. You will dispatch, monitor radios, log incidents, and support on-site personnel with professional customer service.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $17.61 per hour and a day/night schedule that includes nights. CPR and access-control experience are preferred, with a focus on safety and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background check will be conducted as required by law.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and dispatch-related protocols in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Receive, prioritize, document, and relay routine and urgent requests for assistance, coordinating communications with on-site personnel and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Monitor radios, telephones, alarms, cameras, access activity, and/or other dispatch systems; maintain logs, incident reports, and shift records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, escalating concerns per procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols around the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
