Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Dispatch Center in Seattle, WA. You will coordinate communications, monitor activity, and relay information to personnel and emergency responders to help maintain a secure environment.

Position is full time with a rotating schedule and pay rate of $30.33 per hour, reflecting a dedicated, safety‑minded team environment and opportunities for career growth within a nationwide security

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transit agency staff, passengers, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and coordinate communications for transit facilities, stations, vehicles, and field personnel, documenting calls for service and dispatch activity.
• Receive, prioritize, and relay routine and urgent information to personnel and/or emergency responders while maintaining clear radio and telephone communications.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing timely notifications and maintaining incident records.
• Conduct regular monitoring of assigned transit locations and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity.

As a Security Officer Dispatch Center in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Dispatcher supporting a government transportation location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, and relay information to personnel and emergency responders as needed. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to transit agency staff, passengers, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and coordinate communications for transit facilities, stations, vehicles, and field personnel, documenting calls for service, incidents, and dispatch activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Receive, prioritize, and relay routine and urgent information to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders while maintaining clear, professional radio and telephone communications.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing timely notifications and maintaining accurate incident records.
• Conduct regular and random monitoring of assigned transit locations and perimeter areas through available systems and communication channels to help identify and report unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
