Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, unusual conditions and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, parking areas and the perimeter to help identify and report unauthorized activity, hazards or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and maintain accurate visitor, contractor and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents and shift activities in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer - Decker Dr. in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
