Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Wilson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entry points, parking areas, ATMs, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required by site procedures, and maintain awareness of restricted or sensitive areas.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
