As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet tools as needed. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

1. Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Experience in managing access control systems and issuing badges is essential for maintaining security protocols within our organization.

2. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Proficiency in using computers or tablets is crucial, as our operations rely heavily on technology for efficient workflow and communication.

3. Customer Service Experience (B219): A strong background in customer service is vital, as we prioritize providing exceptional support to our clients and stakeholders.

• Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including building perimeters, loading areas, access points, and parking areas.
• Monitor access to the location and report unusual activity, unauthorized entry attempts, and potential hazards in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Support a professional environment by assisting visitors, drivers, and personnel with directions and access-related questions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
