Allied Universal in Aurora, CO is seeking a part-time Security Officer to safeguard an aerospace/defense location. You will provide customer service, enforce site policies, and deter security incidents, maintaining a visible presence and professional communications.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries per site requirements.
• Document observations and incidents accurately and communicate information to site leadership.

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will help support a welcoming, secure environment while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.62 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
