GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer in Appleton, WI. The role emphasizes situational awareness, risk anticipation, and decisive action across varied environments such as retail stores and airports. This entry-level position offers full-time shifts (2 p.m.–10 p.m.

or 10 p.m.–6 a.m. depending on schedule) with a starting wage of $19 per hour. GardaWorld provides a comprehensive benefits package and uniform.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pass an extensive screening process (background check).
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a clear MVR.
• 6 months of Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience preferred.
• State license if required.

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned areas and performs security checks.
• Verify identities and control access to secure locations.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Operate alarms, cameras and security tech on site.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

• Site Location: Appleton, WI 54913
• Full-time, Saturday through Monday, Thursday and Friday, 2nd shift 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Full-time, Sunday through Thursday, 2nd shift 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Full-time, Friday through Monday, 3rd shift 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Responsibilities Of a Tactical Security Guard

• Truck gate operations
• Accurate data entry for truck drivers
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using tablets
• Mobile security patrols
• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications Of a Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of a High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Have advance written & communication skills
• Must be 21 years of age
• Have a valid driver's license and a clear MVR record
• Must have 6 months of Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
