As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Customer Service Patrol in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and entertainment location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with guests and team members while helping create a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $22.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 06:15 PM - 02:15 AM
• Fri 06:15 PM - 02:15 AM
• Sat 06:15 PM - 02:15 AM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, team members, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entertainment areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe guest activity, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and observations accurately and promptly in accordance with site‑specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
