Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Care Security Officer in South Bend, IN. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff at a healthcare location.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and contractors while carrying out site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally following emergency procedures.
• Communicate observations and security concerns to site leadership and responders.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies within a healthcare and laboratory environment.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Communicate observations and security-related concerns promptly to site leadership, Allied Universal supervision, and appropriate responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
