Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law; drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel following site policies and emergency procedures as needed.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and incidents calmly and communicate details to relevant personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the site, parking areas, and access points to detect unusual activity.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting and accountability.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site requirements; verify credentials and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and incident details to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and access points to help identify unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately, and support a professional, customer-focused environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
