Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records, and directing authorized personnel.
• Observe entry and exit points, loading areas, and restricted spaces to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and following site procedures, notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols around the facility, perimeter, parking and loading areas.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor records, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Observe entry and exit points, loading areas, and designated restricted spaces to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and loading areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
